Early life and education[edit]

Duncan was born to Tony and Sally Duncan in Maidstone Hospital, Kent, England on 2 March 1989. He attended Maidstone Grammar School and continued his further education at the University of East Anglia, Norfolk, England. Duncan graduated with a BA in History in 2010 and a postgraduate diploma in Law in 2011.[1]

Career[edit]

Following graduation Duncan was the first employee of Epos Now, a tech startup POS solution provider established by Jacyn heavens in 2011.[2] Duncan grew sales from standing start to in excess of $8million without external investment.[3] In May 2012 Duncan left to found his own company, Square Social,[4] a marketing and advertising agency designed to generate online business for their customers.[5] Within two years the company was the highest revenue SEO agency within the East of England.[6]

Duncan also practices martial arts at a semi professional level, winning his debut fight in Norwich against Batava Maytech[7] in October 2014.

In September 2014 Duncan returned to Epos Now to spearhead the US expansion in Orlando.[8][9] In 2016, Epos Now was ranked by Tech Track as the UK's fastest-growing POS company, and 13th fastest growing private tech firm in the UK, with average annual growth of 156%.[10] In April 2016 Epos Now received the Queen's Award for Enterprise Innovation.[11]
