David James Cherry is an American entrepreneur, scientist and author[1][2][3]. He is known for creating the BrainStyles System[4][2][5][6] and as a co-author of the book BrainStyles: Be Who You Really Are[6].

Early Life and Work[edit]

David was born on 28th November 1933[7] in Fort Madison, Iowa[1][2][8] He is the father of Cassandra D. Cherry[1] and James J. Cherry[1].

Career[edit]

In 1989, David founded UVTech Inc, a formulator and manufacturer of UV curable coatings, adhesives and specialty products. The company was sold to GWB Plastic Holdings Co. in 2001-2002[8]. He founded Research Polymers International (RPI) in July 1981 which was sold to Dexter Corporation in October 1986[8].

David is a chemical engineer and has over 10 patents under his name including for a composite bonded with polyolefin-acrylic and thermoplastic compositions[8][5][6][2]

BrainStyles[edit]

David is the creator of the "BrainStyles System", a type of personality testing system used by corporates to determine the "best possible combination of people for a team".[8][2][9][10]
