David K. Lee

David K. Lee (born January 14, 1982) is an American businessman. He has held various executive positions in major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies[1] and as of 2018 has been the CEO of Servier Pharmaceuticals.

Career[edit]

David K. Lee is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School. He has worked for Novartis and Baxalta before leading the global Oncology and Rare Disease franchises of Shire plc.[2] In 2018, he brokered the $2.4B deal to sell Shire's oncology assets to Laboratoires Servier to become the wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary, Servier Pharmaceuticals, to which he was named CEO.[3]

In 2020, he brokered the deal for Servier Pharmaceuticals to acquire the oncology assets of Agios Pharmaceuticals for $2B.[4]
