Debbie Shokoya is a Nollywood actress who has always featured in Yoruba films. Her full name is Deborah Ajijolajesu Shokoya. She is an indigene of Ogun state, Ijebu remo precisely. Debbie was born and nurtured in Lagos state She did her primary and secondary education in Lagos state before moving to Oyo state where she studied Public Administration at the Polytechnic Ibadan Oyo state. She is a film maker and has featured in various Tv series namely : Tales of Eve , So wrong So wright. She is a Tv presenter and an entrepreneur and has anchored an entertainment Tv show named ‘ Exciting moments with Debbie’. She own a skincare brand named stay Natural by DBS . Her marital status is not known yet.[1][2] The actress cleared the controversy about actress snatching others partners, she cautioned men not to double date as well and stick with their partner.[3]
Deborah also condemned the ban of okada in Lagos, she opined that's the only way for some to feed their family and it's best alternative due to the traffic in the state.[4][5]
Career
She produced her first movie Olugbeja olorun in 2020 starring Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), Muyiwa Ademola, Bimbo Oshin, Olaniyi Afonja (Sanyeri), Biola Adebayo, and Wale Akorede.[5]
In an interview with punch newspapers, the Nollywood actress prefer featuring in romantic scenes as long it doesn't involve nudity.[6]
