The Deepal S05 (Chinese: 深蓝S05; pinyin: Shēnlán S05) is a compact crossover SUV produced by Changan Automobile under their premium NEV brand, Deepal. Sales of the S05 started in the third quarter of 2024.
Overview

The Deepal S05 shares the Changan EPA1 platform with the S07, G318, and L07 models.
The model is available in 4 EV variants and two EREV variants. It takes 7.3 seconds for the EV models to reach 100km/h while it takes 7.9 seconds for the EREV model to reach 100km/h.[1] EV models use a 56.12kWh battery with a range of 510km while the EREV models use a smaller 27.28kWh battery giving it an all-electric range of 200km. The combined range of the EREV models is 1,234km.[2]
A 15.4-inch centre touchscreen is included, and all models use CATL batteries. Headlights engineered by Huawei are standard across the lineup. Lower trims come with an 8-speaker system while higher trims use a 14-speaker system. The infotainment system uses Deepal OS 3.0 and all models come with the Qualcomm SA8155P chip installed. There is a HUD in place of a traditional instrument panel.[3]
