Deepika Kaliraman is one of the first Indian women wrestlers in India. She is the daughter of the great Legendary wrestler Chandgi Ram who won a gold medal at the 1970 Asian Games. Her father received the Arjuna award and the Padma Shri award. She was born in 1982 in Delhi. Her brother Jagdish Kaliraman and sister Sonika Kaliraman are also International wrestlers.
