Deeptha Khanna (born 25 January 1976) is the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Leader of the Personal Health businesses in the Dutch company Royal Philips Electronics[1] (known universally as Philips), taking over the position on 1 August 2020.[2]

Biography[edit]

Deeptha Khanna was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and is a citizen of Singapore. From 1993 to 1996,[3] Khanna studied Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science at Saint Francis College, Osmania University in Hyderabad, Telangana. In 1998, Khanna earned a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, where she was the first female to be elected to the post of student body president.[1] Khanna began her career at Procter & Gamble where she spent 17 years in various marketing and business positions across Asia. Deeptha married Dinesh Khanna in 2001. In 2015, Khanna joined Johnson & Johnson where she held multiple leadership positions including Global President of Baby Care and Skin Health.[1][3] In 2020, Khanna joined Philips as the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Leader Personal Health, and a member of the Royal Philips Executive Committee.[4]
