Defence Therapeutics is a Canadian biotechnology company based in Vancouver. The company develops biologics and biosimilar antibody-based therapeutic drugs and vaccines for cancer and infectious diseases.

The company was founded in 2017 under the name Accum Therapeutics and renamed Defence Therapeutics in May 2020.[1] The company develops vaccines and therapies using patented platform technology named ACCUM and antibody drug conjugates (ADC) technology.[2]
Defence Therapeutics has a cancer vaccine in development. The cancer vaccine, Accuvac, was able to cure cancer in mice with a 70 percent success rate in a study announced in May 2021.[3]
The company is also developing a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. This is expected to be protein-based and remain effective against a wide range of variants. According to a study announced May 31, 2021, a vaccine tested in animals successfully produced antibodies against all variants of SARS-CoV-2.[4]
