Oladeji Daniel "Deji" Olatunji (born 9 December 1996), better known as Deji and formerly as ComedyShortsGamer, is an English YouTuber and internet personality.[3] He is the younger brother of KSI.[4] In December 2011, he began posting gameplay and prank videos on the YouTube channel Deji. As of April 2020, his channel has over 3.8 billion views and still less than 10 million subscribers.[5]

Olatunji created his Deji channel in December 2011.[6] As of 19 April 2020, he has 9.97 million subscribers and over 3.8 billion views. His videos consist of pranks, vlogs, gameplay and reaction videos.

Film and television[edit]

On 3 December 2015, Olatunji appeared as himself in the TV mini-series The Rackaracka. In 2016, Olatunji starred in the 2016 British comedy film Laid in America, playing the role of Freddie.[7]

Books[edit]

Olatunji released the book "Kung Fu Hero and The Forbidden City: A ComedyShortsGamer Graphic Novel" on 2 November 2017.[8] The book is about a Kung Fu hero who saves the world.[9]

Amateur boxing career[edit]

Deji versus Jake Paul[edit]

On 24 February 2018, it was announced that Deji and his brother KSI would be fighting Jake Paul and his brother Logan Paul respectively, in a white-collar boxing event.[10] Prior to the match, Olatunji and Paul engaged in a public dispute with each other, featuring several diss tracks by both YouTubers.[11] Jake defeated Deji by technical knockout in five rounds.[12]

Personal life[edit]

Olatunji was born in London, England on 9 December 1996 to Nigerian parents Yinka Olatunji and Jide Olatunji. Olatunji is the younger brother of KSI.[13] Olatunji became involved in a significant dispute with his brother that started when he leaked his brothers bank info during a diss track.[13] The dispute escalated significantly, leading to highly public arguments between the two, with Olatunji accusing his brother of "emotional and physical abuse".[14] The two brothers eventually ended their feud.[15]
