Delicious Party Pretty Cure the Movie: Dreaming Children's Lunch! (Japanese: 映画デリシャスパーティ プリキュア 夢みる お子さまランチ! Hepburn: Eiga Derishasu Pāti Purikyua Yumemiru Okosama Ranchi!) is a 2022 Japanese animated action fantasy film based on the Pretty Cure franchise created by Izumi Todo, and its nineteenth series, Delicious Party Pretty Cure. The film is directed by Akifumi Zako, written by Jin Tanaka, and produced by Toei Animation. The film was released in Japan on September 23, 2022, as a double feature with a 8-minute short film, My Precious Lunch.[2]
Plot[edit]
In Oishiina Town, a town where delicious foods from all over the world gather, an amusement park named "Dreamia" has its grand opening. Dreamia is an all-you-can-play, all-you-can-eat theme park based on the popular children's lunch. Kome-kome, Yui, and the rest of the group enjoy the theme park's attractions, along with being treated to delicious unlimited children's lunches by the park's director, Cait Sith. However, things go wrong when Rosemary is turned into a stuffed doll. The group discovers the secret of the park while rescuing Rosemary.

Production[edit]
In July 2022, it was announced that a standalone film for Delicious Party Pretty Cure was in the works, with Akifumi Zako from Fresh Pretty Cure! and Hug! Pretty Cure series is directing the film, with Jin Tanaka from Go! Princess PreCure and Kirakira Pretty Cure a la Mode series is providing the screenplay, and Pretty Cure episode animation director Hitomi Matsuura is designing the characters and providing the animation direction for the film, after previously providing the same position from Pretty Cure Miracle Universe film.[3][4] Natsuki Hanae was cast as Cait Sith the same day.[5] Later on August, Shinji Mizuta and Kenshirō Kawanishi from comedy duo Wagyu were cast as two robots in the theme park Dreamia.[6]

My Precious Lunch[9] is a 2022 Japanese CG animated short film based on the Pretty Cure franchise created by Izumi Todo. The short is written and directed by Junichi Yamamoto, and produced by Toei Animation.[2][10]

The Delicious Party Pretty Cure team joins Tropical-Rouge! Pretty Cure, Healin' Good Pretty Cure and Star Twinkle PreCure teams, as they cook their favorite lunches from their own childhood memories.
