Deng Chao Yun (Chinese: 邓超元; born 6 May 1997), also known as Aaron Deng, is a Chinese actor and singer. He is best known for participating in the second season of Idol Producer, Youth With Youth (2019)
Career[edit]
In 2019, Deng participated in the second season of the Chinese survival show Idol Producer, Youth With You. During the fourth stage of the programme in February, Deng won first with "Dream" in the live stage voting of the first performance. His final ranking was 13. Deng also participated in the IQIYI 2019 Fan Fiesta. On April 30, his first music single "Super Talk" was released.
In January 2020, Deng won the "Best New Artist Award" at the Asia Rookie Grand Ceremony,[citation needed] hosted by the China International Cultural Communication Centre and the Asian Music Festival Organising Committee. Deng further starred as Jun Ye in Love of Summer Night. Later that year, he gained acclaim for his role as Qin Shen in the romance drama Professional Single.
Community work[edit]
In March 2019, Deng and the Youth With You trainees visited a home for the widowed elderly and prepared entertaining activities. The same month, he participated in "Youth With Love Forest" and planted trees with his fellow trainees. On December 2, as the charity ambassador of the "Hua Hua Growth Plan", Deng attended the "Give the Future" Charity Exhibition and Charity Night of the Hainan International Film Festival.
