Dev Mohan (born Madhu Mohan) is an Indian actor, model, playback singer and an engineer who works predominantly in Malayalam films.[1][2][3] He made his acting debut with the 2020 Malayalam film Sufiyum Sujatayum.[4]
Personal life[edit]
Madhu Mohan was born on 10 January 1993 in Thrissur, Kerala. Growing up in a Hindu household, Mohan was brought up a pure vegetarian. He did both his early and secondary education in Thrissur itself before doing mechanical engineering in Vidya Academy of Science and Technology. During his college days, Mohan took up modelling as a part-time income. To pursue modelling as a career, Dev moved to Bangalore, Karnataka and working for various local advertisement. In 2016, Dev was shorlisted in the Peter England Mr India pageant and became one of the finalist. After the pageant, Mohan called himself as Dev Mohan and worked for many runway shows and photoshoots before landing a role in the 2020 Malayalam flick, Sufiyum Sujatayum starring Jayasurya and Aditi Rao Hydari. Mohan potrayed the titular character Sufi who falls for a mute girl Sujata played by Aditi. After the film releasing in Amazon Prime Video, the film was praised and his potrayal as Sufi was well-received by both general audience and critics.
In 2020, Mohan got married to his long-time girlfriend Rajina.
