Dev Randhawa (born 1963) is a Canadian businessperson. He is the chief executive (CEO) of Fission Uranium Corp.[1]

Education[edit]

Dev Randhawa received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with honours from Trinity Western College of Langley, British Columbia in 1983.[2] He completed his Master in Business Administration at the University of British Columbia in 1985.

Career[edit]

Career Prior to his career in natural resource exploration, Dev was an investment banker.[3] Dev Randhawa began his career in natural resource exploration in the 1990s founding Strathmore Minerals Corp. in 1996. He remained CEO until September 2008. Dev went on to become the Founder of Fission Energy Corp.[4] In 2013, Fission Uranium was spun out to Fission Energy Corp's shareholders, after the company was acquired by Denison Mines Corp.[5]

Dev Randhawa has been nominated for and won multiple industry awards in the resource sector, including: Northern Miner Magazine ‘Mining Person of the Year 2013’ [6] EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 (finalist) [7] and, as part of the Fission team, Mining Journal Excellence Award 2015 for Exploration [8]
