Evan Carmichael is a Canadian entrepreneur, author, speaker and business consultant.[4][5][6]

Career[edit]

At age 19, Evan Carmichael founded a biotechnology software company, which he later sold. After selling the company, he worked as a venture capitalist.[7] Carmichael is the founder of Evan Carmichael Communications Group, which specializes in coaching and social media strategy for entrepreneurs.[8][9]

In 2014, Carmichael was recognized by Forbes as one of the world's top 40 social marketing talents.[10] The same year, Inc. listed Carmichael among their top "100 Great Leadership Speakers for Your Next Conference."[11] The following year, in 2015, Inc. again recognized Carmichael, this time as one of the "25 Social Media Keynote Speakers You Need to Know."[7]

Carmichael runs evancarmichael.com, which provides advice to small-business owners, and he frequently contributes to Entrepreneur.[12][13] Carmichael published the business leadership book Your One Word in 2016.[14]
