Dewal Pratiharas

Dewal Pratihar is a clan of Rajput. There are 52 villages of Dewal Pratihar in Jalore, including Jaswantpura and Raniwara.[better source needed]
Origin
A new dynasty was founded by Nagabhata I at Jalore, near Bhinmal, in about 730 AD, soon after Junayd's death in a battle against the Pratihara king. Nagabhata is said to have defeated the "invincible Gurjaras", presumably those of Bhinmal.[citation needed]
