Dewan Salman Fibre
Dewan Salman Fibre Limited (DSFL) is one of the largest Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) manufacturing companies in Pakistan. It was established in 1990 as a joint venture between Dewan Mushtaq Group, Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan and Sam Yang Corporation, Korea.It was made by Dewan Salman and Dewan Farooq
The ceremony for this over US$100 million project was done in February 1990. The plant commenced commercial operations from January 1, 1992. Dewan Salman Fibre Limited doubled its capacity in 1996 by establishing its Unit No.2 with a capacity of 56,500 tonnes per annum. Today it is the 11th largest fiber producing entity.
It belongs to the Dewan group. Dewan Salman Fibre has a market capitalization of more than 1 billion PKR (Pakistani Rupee). Its major industry is Apparel and Textiles and sub industry is diversified textiles products. The main plant is situated near Islamabad, Pakistan. In 2008 the company recorded huge sales of over 10 billion Pakistani Rupees.
