Dhaka University Cultural Society[1], also known as DUCS (Bengali: ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সাংস্কৃতিক সংসদ), is a voluntary students' organization of the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh. It was established in 5 September, 2015. DUCS's motto is Express to Explore. It is a University of Dhaka based students' society and only the students of Dhaka University can be a member of the society. Present chief patron of Dhaka University Cultural Society is Md. Akhtaruzzaman; Present Vice Chancellor of the university. A student of Dhaka University and Entrepreneur Ahsan Rony is the founder of the Society. The organization is now 5 years old[2]

Mission[edit]
Dhaka University Cultural Society (DUCS) is dedicated to create opportunities for students who have interest in culture to immerse themselves in the all-embracing spectrum of heritage & culture. Developing skills on various cultural issues and providing opportunities to get established on the cultural sectors such as Acting, Singing, Dancing, Film Making, Fashion Designing, News & Program Presentation and many more
Areas & Activities[edit]
DUCS serves as a catalyst in uniting the alumni community of University of Dhaka and the current students in a single platform. We work in three broad areas:
- We try to build a bridge between the current and already established former students according to their area of interest through arranging different events,
- We help students to develop their skills.
- We make an effort to affiliate our society in different cultural competitions

From the beginning Sabrina Sultana Chowdhury, a teacher of Mass Communication and Journalism at University of Dhaka, is working as a moderator of DUCS.Currently Sadia Ashrafi Thizbee and Joy Das are working as President and General Secratary[10]. The organization is run by its 2022-23 committee.
