Dharsha Gupta (born 7 June 1994) also known as Dharsha is an Tamil television and film actress known for her roles in serials such as Mullum Malarum (2017), Avalum Naanum (2018), Minnale (2018) and Senthoora Poove (2020).[2] She made her cinematic acting debut in 2021 by signing up in Mohan G's Kollywood film Rudrathandavam, where she played the lead role.[3][4][5] She rose to prominence after contesting in Star Vijay's reality programme Cooku with Comali (season 2) (2021).[6]

Career[edit]

Dharsha made her debut as a television actress by playing as Viji in the serial Mullum Malarum (2017). She later acted in the Vijay TV soap opera Avalum Naanum (2018) playing various different roles such as Preethi, Suju Vasan, Fouzil Hidhayah and Manasa in the serial. She also acted in serials such as Minnale (2018) playing as Varsha and she did a cameo role in the ZEE5 orignal Tamil drama thanthu vitten ennai. In the same year she also acted in Senthoora Poove (2020) playing as Aishwarya.[7] She also participated in the comedy cooking show Cooku With Comali (season 2) as a contestant.[8] Dharsha later signed up to act in a Tamil film directed by Mohan G called Rudrathandavam as the lead actress.[9]

In early 2021, she was involved in a social media altercation with a jewelry company for a free promotional advertisement which later the company accused her of cheating them.[10][11]
