Dhumketu (The Comet) is an upcoming Bengali romance action film directed by Koushik Ganguly[1][2] and produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures. It features Dev, Subhasree Ganguly and Chiranjeet Chakraborty in lead roles.[3][4] The story of the film follows Megh, who works as a tea estate manager in North Sikkim, and how on becoming jobless he fights back to bring joy in his family's life. The filming bagan in the locations of Kolkata and then shot in Khoorpatal, Nainital.[5] The unit was at first supposed to shoot in Kashmir but later Nainital was selected.[6][7]
Plot[edit]
Megh is a married person, working as manager in a tea estate in North Sikkim. In a certain critical situation he becomes jobless and struggles to make both ends meet. As there are not many options for livelihood around in the hills. He fights to bring back joy into his family's life.[1]
