Di-Cypher is an American company that specializes in Life Coaching, Mental Coaching, Leadership Coaching, Peak Performance Coaching, Negotiations, Personal Advising and Business Consulting: all services "designed to help maximize their clients full potential."[1]

In the past Di-Cypher acted as a talent and sports agency but in 2015 it was converted to be "More of a hub for talent to receive everything needed in one location." Additionally, in late 2015 the company opened for the public to receive the same benefits given to talent for years: Professional Peak Performance Coaching, Life Coaching, Success Coaching, Mental Coaching, Negotiation Consulting, Business Consulting, and Personal Advising.[2]

History[edit]

"For the past 10 years Di-Cypher's experts have helped Celebrities, Olympic Athletes, Actors, Comedians, MMA Fighters, Boxers, Business Leaders, and Executives with Personal Coaching,[3] Negotiations,[4] Performance, Public Relations, Brain Storming, Business Start Ups and Personal Consulting."[5]

In 2015, Di-Cypher went fully public, offering its complete list of services which "expands daily to meet the needs of its clientele." Daniel[6] and Angela Martinez decided to expand the services which they have been providing since the late 90's to the entire nation—thus Di-Cypher ("Di-" from the Greek prefix meaning "two" paired in conjunction with "cypher," a play on the word "cipher" meaning code,) implies the concept that two individuals paired up to help others solve or decode specific problems.[6] Before Di-cypher, the founders only worked with specific clients, such as celebrities hoping to reinvent their names or helping a UFC fighter negotiate better pay or providing consulting services for medical malpractice or helping to create and develop innovative medical devices. Since this expansion into a lifestyle firm they have entered into new contracts, adding new coaches and consultants: celebrity life coaches, sports psychologists, and attorneys to handle the volume of expanding clientele. Through it all, the couple keeps the running joke that they are in the business of helping others "Di-cypher Life."

Currently[edit]

In August, 2015, Di-Cypher created a strategic plan to reach the masses.

"Di-Cypher has decided to open its coaching services to every day people." Previously, they were only known to coach celebrities and athletes. Since expanding, "the company has lowered their prices in order to help everyone."[5] However, they also bundle services, maintaining options such as Celebrities Packages and other upgrades from basic services. These options provide the ability to customize the coaching experience to the individual.[7]

Expansion[edit]

With a client list containing mainly actors, MMA Fighters, Boxers, and Comedians, the firm decided to open it's doors to include the public. Offering negotiation, advising, and consulting services, Di-Cypher broadened their scope to help more than just actors in contract negotiations.[5] What makes Di-cypher unique is their goal to make advising and coaching and negotiations available to everyone. Their services are "intended to help prevent clients from having to tackle a difficult situation solo. Everyone benefits from having another party critiquing and providing feedback. Di-cypher prevents clients from absorbing the potentially harsh, negative ramifications of hard negotiation tactics. All clients, not just athletes, celebrities and wealthy socialites, can both benefit from the support of these services and remain free of the socially damaging consequences of negotiation."[8] Recently, the company made a conscious effort to make their expert advisors and consultants available for individuals and small businesses to use. Di-Cypher's consulting services claim to provide a completely objective strategic analysis and advise businesses or individuals in need.

Di-cypher has commented in social media and blogs that they plan to release a line of products to further aid clientele, such as books, supplements, tools, etc.[7] Rumor has it they have a draft up for publishing called "Di-Cypher Life."[5] They plan to sell additional services and products with the same commitment, holding the standard of service they have been providing private clients since the 90's.

In popular culture[edit]

In a CNN article Jennifer Lawrence drew mention to her affinity with the company in an article titled "What Jennifer Lawrence reveals about women and equal pay" where she mentions having "failed as a negotiator." She attributed this failure to "an element of wanting to be liked that influenced my decision to close the deal without a real fight. I didn't want to seem 'difficult' or 'spoiled.'"[9]

Clients[edit]

All Clients are confidential unless they chose to voice the affiliation. However, they have been linked to Jennifer Lawrence and many high level MMA Fighters and Boxers. It's also been documented that Legands of The Cage uses Di-Cypher for contracts reviews, negotiations and life coaching for their legends. [4][10][7][9][11]
