Diahnne Abbott (born January 1, 1945)[1] is an American actress.[2]
Personal life[edit]
Abbott married actor Robert De Niro[2][3] in 1976. They had a son, Raphael, that same year.[4] De Niro adopted Drena, Abbott's daughter from a previous relationship.[5] De Niro and Abbott divorced in 1988.[6]
Career[edit]
Abbott is known for her roles in Martin Scorsese's films. She portrayed the concession clerk in Taxi Driver (1976) and had a memorable cameo in New York, New York (1977).[7] She also played Rita Keane in The King of Comedy (1983) and appeared in the television series Crime Story.[8]
