Digger is a Greek film directed by Georgis Grigorakis starring Vangelis Mourikis and Argyris Pandazaras.[1] It has been selected as part of the Panorama screenings at the 70th Berlin Film Festival in 2020.[2] The film was co-produced by Haos Film (Greece) and Le Bureau (France).
For the writing and direction of this film, Georgis Grigorakis was granted the Nipkow Programme fellowship, has received support from the Greek Film Center, ERT broadcasting and the Greek-French Co-production Fund. The film was selected for the 2015 Sundance Screenwriters Workshop, and is one of the six projects selected for the 31st session of Cannes Cinefondation Residency in Paris.[3]
