Georgis Grigorakis (Greek: Τζώρτζης Γρηγοράκης; born 1983 in Athens) is a Greek film maker. He studied Social Psychology at University of Sussex, and in 2012 he graduated from the National Film and Television School with a master degree in Directing Fiction.[1]

His feature film Digger has been selected as part of the Panorama section of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival.[2] Starting writing his first feature film in 2015, Georgis was granted the Nipkow Programme fellowship[3], support from the Greek Film Center, ERT broadcasting and the Greek-French Co-production Fund. The project has been selected for the 2015 Sundance Screenwriters Workshop, and is one of the six projects selected for the 31st session of Cannes Cinéfondation Residency in Paris.[4]
