Dimpu Baruah (Assamese:ডিম্পু বৰুৱা) is a YouTuber from Assam, India. Baruah is 1 million subscribed individual creator from Northeast India on his YouTube channel Dimpu’s Vlogs.[1][2] [3] His other channel is Dimpu Baruah which is based on practical based education.
Early life[edit]
He was a full-time teacher at a primary school in Nalbari until 2017. [2]
Presentation style[edit]
Dimpu is known for his humorous way of presentation. He interacts in Kamrupi dialects (known as tholua bhaxa) of Assamese language.[2]His videos are informative. Some of his videos deals with a science-related topic in a non-snobbish manner. His fun, informative and relatable videos have become a staple in every Assamese household.[4]
Social works[edit]
Baruah raises INR 43,000 for the 2020 Assam floods victims.[5] [6] [7] [8] He devided this donation among 43 homeless flood victims. [9]
Other activities[edit]
Baruah is a regular invitee for various book fairs and school functions to share his experiences.[10]

- Baruah holds a total 2 Youtube Creator Awards (2 Silver Play Buttons) for his both YouTube channels. Dimpu received YouTube's Golden Play Button on 8 October 2020.[11]
