dimsum is a Malaysian over-the-top (OTT) streaming service launched in November 2016. It operates as a subscription video-on-demand platform via mobile applications and on the web.
dimsum offers television series and shows from original television networks and content partners in Asia, including China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea and Malaysia.

dimsum is founded by SMG Entertainment Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Star Media Group in Malaysia and is launched officially on 8 November 2016. Its office is currently based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
As of June 2018, dimsum is accessible in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore (via StarHub).
Name[edit]
The name dimsum is derived from the famous Chinese cuisine dian xin 点心and loosely translated to English as a “selection of the heart”.
