Inari Amertron Berhad (INRI:MK) is an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, providing manufacturing services and support to the Radio Frequency, Optoelectronics, Fibre-Optics and Testing & Measurement Equipment sectors.
Inari Amertron was listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) on 19 July 2011,[2] and transferred to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia effective 3 June 2014.[3] Its securities are shariah-compliant[4] and are a constituent of the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) Global Small Cap Index[5] within the MSCI Malaysia Index.[6]
With its headquarter located in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Inari Amertron operates a total of 10 factories (as at September 2015), situated in Malaysia (Penang, Johor), the People’s Republic of China (Kunshan) and the Philippines (Clark Field, Parañaque); employing a workforce of about 6,000 employees.

Inari Amertron Berhad was formed following the merger and acquisition of two EMS providers: Inari Berhad and Amertron Inc. (Global) Limited.
Inari Berhad was established in 2006 as an EMS provider of semiconductor packaging services to the Radio Frequency (RF) mobile industry, which include back-end wafer processing and RF testing. Inari’s RF products are used mainly in the wireless telecommunications sector, including smartphones, 3G devices, cellular phones, and wireless computing peripherals.
Amertron Inc. (Global) Limited was established in 1988 and is involved in optoelectronics manufacturing (LEDs, LED displays, optical sensors and Infrared sensors used in data centres, automotive and defence sectors, consumer computing devices and industrial automation); and fibre-optics research, design and manufacturing (fibre-optic transmitters and receivers used in telecommunications industry such as data centres and server switches).
On 25 June 2013, Inari Berhad completed the acquisition of Amertron for USD32 million.[7] The name of the enlarged Group was subsequently changed to Inari Amertron Berhad effective 5 July 2013.[8]

Inari Amertron Berhad is an investment holding company with four core businesses, namely: (i) Integrated semiconductor packaging and testing services (ii) Optoelectronics manufacturing, testing and assembly (iii) Fibre-Optics Research, Design and Manufacturing (iv) ODM of electronic test and measurement equipment.
Its operating subsidiaries and corresponding core businesses are:[9]
- Inari Technology Sdn Bhd (100% subsidiary of IAB) is involved in back-end wafer processing, package assembly and final testing of RF semiconductor components.
- Inari South Keytech Sdn Bhd (100% subsidiary of IAB) is involved in Research & Development (R&D) and manufacturing of fiber-optics components, (e.g. optics transmitters and receivers).
- Ceedtec Sdn Bhd (51% subsidiary of IAB) is involved in is an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) of electronic test and measurement equipment for automotive and laboratory applications and is the parent company of Ceedtec Technology Sdn Bhd involved in manufacturing of testing equipment for semiconductor and related products.
- Inari International Limited (100% subsidiary of IAB) is the intermediate holding company of Amertron Inc. (Global) Limited Group, which has two 100%-owned subsidiaries: Amertron Incorporated and Amertron Technology (Kunshan) Co. Ltd, both of which are involved in the manufacturing, testing and assembly of optoelectronics products.
- Simfoni Bistari Sdn Bhd (100% subsidiary of IAB) is involved in property investment and investment holding.
- Inari Semiconductor Labs Sdn Bhd (100% subsidiary of IAB) is involved in chip fabrication.
- Inari Integrated Systems Sdn Bhd (100% subsidiary of IAB) is involved in the semiconductor testing of IC chips.
