Dipanshu Kabra is an Indian Police Service officer who is currently posted as the Commissioner of Public Relations Department in Chhattisgarh. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Chhattisgarh Samvad and also holds charge of Additional Transport Commissioner.[1][2] He has been awarded the President Medal for Meritorious Services in 2014.[3] He is also a well-known internet personality in Chhattisgarh.[4]

Early Life
Dipanshu Kabra was born to Smt. Shobha Kabra and Shri Vijay Bhagwan Kabra in Nagpur, Maharashtra. His father was a mining engineer at Western Coalfield Limited. He is the third of four siblings.[5]
Kabra received his early education from Mount Carmel School, Nagpur until the fourth grade. Thereafter, he completed his graduation from Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Nagpur. During his school days, along with reading books, he read the news every day to stay updated.[6] He completed his Junior College in the field of Science. He studied Chemical Engineering from Lakshmi Narayan Institute of Technology, Nagpur. In 1997 he was selected for the Indian Police Service in his first attempt, securing AIR 85 and was subsequently posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police (Training) at National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
Career Highlights
Dipanshu Kabra joined the Indian Police Service in 1997.[7] He served as the Superintendent of Police at Mahasamund in 2005. Thereafter, he took up the role of Superintendent of Police at Raipur in 2010.
In 2021, Kabra took charge as Commissioner, Public Relations and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chhattisgarh Samvad. He also has additional charge of Chhattisgarh Communications and Commissioner, Transport Department. In 2022, Kabra was promoted to the post of Additional Director General (ADG) of Chhattisgarh Police.[8]
