Scott Allen Kleeschulte (born April 12, 1979) disappeared on the afternoon of June 8, 1988 around 4:30 p.m. in St. Charles, Missouri.
Disappearance[edit]
On June 8, 1988, Scott Allen Kleeschulte, a 9-year-old boy in St. Charles, Missouri reportedly went to play in the woods after the last school day of the year. That afternoon, a major thunderstorm hit the town throughout the rest of the day. Kleeschulte was reportedly last seen walking on Ken Drive toward West Adams.
A massive search effort was issued for Kleeschulte, but he was never found.[1][2][3]
Investigation[edit]
Missouri authorities believe Kleeschulte was the victim of an abduction. Since his disappearance, authorities have gotten consistent tips to the present day. No suspects have ever been charged.
In 2016, investigators said they had pursued a new small group of tips in the case and said they were "encouraged" by recent leads.[1]
