Dj Sheikh Honey Also Know Sheikh Zaman (Born 1997 Sheikhupura,) is a Pakistani singer and songwriter. Dj Sheikh current manager, Ali But first discovered him through his YouTube videos in 2009.
Life and career[edit]
1997–2014: Early life[edit]
Born on 14 August 1997 in Sheikhupura, Punjab, Pakistan, to a Punjabi family, Dj Sheikh and his family moved to Lahore due to his father’s business. After facing many ups and downs in his life and after all the struggle and hard work, Dj became successful.
Dj Sheikh started his own business of T-shirts and guitars under his own name "Dj Sheikh". Since the age of 14, he had a profound interest in music. Playing his guitar and singing was just a hobby in his life initially which soon turned into his passion and ultimately his passion became his profession.
Dj,s first video of "Bin" appeared on YouTube in 2010 and since then, there has been no looking back for Sheikh as he sways to his own music with youngsters from all corners of the country. "Bin" was nominated for BBT followed by his second super hit romantic number ‘Tera Pass Hu’, which was nominated for BBT. Both the videos were directed by Ali But. This year Dj’s track "Sheesha peena" has officially been a part of the music of the international Musics Pakistan[1] gaining more recognition for Dj’s talented music.[2] Dj is the only singer who sang singles in three Bollywood movies within a month.
have been struggling hard to earn a name in the music industry of Pakistan. But Dj emerged as a shining star and gained recognition for his distinctive talent and originality of outclass music. Due to his unique style, he is now a big craze for the young generation, be it Television, concerts in Pakistan as well as abroad. Abida Parveen has been his biggest source of inspiration.
