Dona Amelia

Dona Amelia (also referred to as Donna Amelia and during her early days as Donna Ray; born January 25, 1986) is a singer, actress and TV presenter from Indonesia (Banten Province).

She started to sing at a young age while still in high school and also when completing a degree at University between 2003 and 2008 at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (Untirta).

In 2007 Dona Amelia was signed by Pelangi Records [1] with the album Hip Hop Disco Aerobic Terlaris Donna Ray.

In 2010 Dona was part of the winning trio of SCTV’s reality show Charlie's Angels.[2]

In 2011 Dona was a reporter of the Indonesia Barclays Premiere League.

In 2012 Dona became the lead singer[3] of Stinky, a pop/rock band. One of their main songs recorded and performed was Mungkinkah 2.

In 2014 Dona got her new single Mujaer Mundur[4] signed by Pelangi Record.

In 2014 Dona was on the cover of MALE magazine.[5]

Further, Dona was part of the movie series Si Mamat Anak Pasar Jangkrik,[6] and Jadikan Aku Simpanan.[7]

Another TV program that Dona was active in was SILET.[8]

In 2015 Dona went on an international tour that included a show in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as the Showstopper[9] at the Chill Sky Bar and Lounge.

Dona also performed live vocal shows at Cargo together with international DJ Matt Caseli[10] in Ho Chi Minh Vietnam. Matt Caseli's most recent successes have come through signings to Axwell’s highly respected Axtone Records,[11] with the singles Sign Your Name[12] and Raise Your Hands.[13] Both gaining global support and hitting the top spots on the Beatport [14] and industry charts.

In October 2015 Dona also performed on Xone Radio[15] in Saigon.

In November 2015 Dona performed live shows in Bangkok, Thailand with Matt Caseli.[16] The first show was held at The Club Khaosan[17] and the second at Superflow Beach Club Bangkok.[18] In the same month she was also covered in an article in Asia Life Magazine.[19]
