Dormaa Senior High School, then Secondary School, was the first to be built by President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah as a Secondary School in the southern sector of Brong-Ahafo to run a secondary course; that is why we call it "ADIKANFO". The first secondary school between the then Brong Ahafo region now Bono region and Ashanti Regions to be established in 1947.[1]
Dormaa Senior High School is a Category B School as of 2021 and one of the senior high schools in Brong Region at Dormaa Ahenkro of Dormaa Municipal. The school's average population is estimated at 3,493.
