Dormzi LLC, commonly known as Dormzi, is an American college based mobile application launched in 2018 by Milan Kordestani and Sabine Rizvi. The app is designed to build micro communities that aid university students in peer-to-peer campus related tasks.

    Overview[edit]

Dormzi is a student-focused application that connects student on the same campus to execute peer-to-peer tasks. It is a micro-network driven solution, based on money and service exchange. The app uses a campus exclusive model to provide safety and convenience.[1][2]

Rizvi is a student at New York University and Kordestani is a student at Colorado College. The duo conceptualized the app while realizing the need for a campus gig-economy app.[1] They worked with remote developers and designers to create the app that currently provides tutoring, errand running, laundry, and cleaning services.[3][4][5]

The application is available on both iOS and Android operating systems. As of 2019, the application is available exclusively at New York University and Florida State University.[6]
