Dragana Dujović (Serbian Cyrillic: Драгана Дујовић; born October 22, 1984) is a Serbian-American model and fashion designer. She represented Serbia and Montenegro at Miss Universe 2004.[1]
Biography[edit]
Dragana Dujović was born in the capital of the Serbian province of Vojvodina, where she grew up and graduated from the School of Chemical Technology and the Faculty of Management. She started modeling very early, as a thirteen-year-old, accepting an offer to attend a course at a local fashion agency. Later, Dujović became a children's instructor and taught the younger ones how to pose in front of the camera and behave on the catwalk. At the age of sixteen, she participated in a beauty contest for the first time and was the first runner-up of the teenage Miss Yugoslavia. After two years, she represented Serbia and Montenegro at the Miss Universe pageant in Ecuador, then in 2009 at Miss Model of the World[2] and in 2010 at Top Model of the World.[3]
Dujović settled in the United States in 2012, to perfect her education and career. In 2014 she signed a contract with Wilhelmina Models and in 2016 graduated in the field of designing accessories at the Miami International University of Art & Design. In June 2021 she published the autobiography "Dragana: My Journey from Serbia to America," with the aim of motivating those who read it to succeed and encouraging them not to stop until achieve the set goal. She also tried her hand at acting too appearing in 2013 in the short film Raven, based on the famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe.[4]
Dujović is married and has three children, sons Niko and Luca and daughter Nikki. She lives and works in Miami, on the banks of Biscayne.[5]
