Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty is a 2019/2020 Chinese drama about a girl who accidentally travels back in time and could change the entire history of China. The series is an adaptation from the novel Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty by Jin Zi.
Plot[edit]
The story follows an architect Xiao Wei from 21st century who gets lost in the Forbidden City. She finds a lantern from Qing dynasty there which she places in her apartment. Three hundred years in the past, the thirteenth prince of Qing dynasty finds himself dreaming of going into the future where he meets Xiao Wei and falls in love with her. After time traveling to the Qing Dynasty to meet the 13th prince, both Xiao Wei and thirteenth prince meet each other in the palace but they have lost memories of each other. In an effort to find the person she fell in love with, she meets the warmhearted 13th prince Yinxiang, Prince Yi, the 14th prince, the 4th prince (later the Yongzheng Emperor), the stately Kangxi Emperor and becomes embroiled in the political turmoils within the palace. Which path to choose becomes a difficult choice that she must make over and over again.

In modern times she is Qiang Wei's manager, jealous at her talent, who tries to fire her.
Ding Qiao as Yin Zhen, the fourth prince Xu Zi Han as young Yin Zhen A serious and righteous man who is closer to Yin Xiang as they were raised together. But their brotherhood is strained when they both fall in love with Ming Wei. He is also Yin Ti's full-blood brother. While not unintelligent himself, he relies on Yin Xiang's keen insights to survive the power struggle.
