Drott was the royal yacht of the Swedish king Oscar II from 1883 to 1907, and then used seldom by king Gustaf V before being decomissioned and scraped in 1923.
Originaly built in 1877 as a torpedo cruiser named Ran, the ship was repurposed and renamed Drott in 1883 an frequently used by king Oscar on summer trips to Marstrand on the Swedish west coast.
