ERevMax - RateTiger
eRevMax is a hotel technology company that makes channel manager products for hotels to manage websites like Expedia, Priceline, Booking.com etc. Hotels and accommodation providers use channel manager solutions to manage online distribution of room rates and inventory so that travellers can book them from different travel websites when they plan to travel.
The use of a channel manager has automated the online distribution process of hotels replacing the old-fashioned manual process of updating room rates and inventory on each individual travel website, which was both time-consuming and cumbersome. Further it was error prone and could lead to delays in rate updates. Today most hotels use a web-based channel manager although desktop based solutions still exist.

eRevMax was founded by Reuel Ghosh and Andrew Morsi in 2001. The company developed and introduced the first hotel channel management system in the hospitality industry in 2002.[1]

In hotels a channel management system, also known as a Channel Manager, is a software application used to make rate and inventory updates to multiple travel websites like Expedia, Booking.com, Ctrip, Priceline etc from a single platform, helping make the room rate distribution automated and in real-time. The system automates hotel online distribution process by helping save time and making error-free updates. Hotel channel management system may interface with third-party solutions like property management system, central reservation systems, global distribution system, online booking engine, revenue management systems and online travel agents.
With the advancement of cloud computing channel management system for hotels have expanded their functionality offerings providing rate shopping and guest review management features as well. These new functionalities are mainly used by hotels to better manage their revenue and distribution functions while providing a unique guest experience. A good channel manager should make accurate and immediate updates and provide a single screen platform for hotels to manage the back-end online distribution process effectively.

LIVE OS[edit]
In 2015, the company launched a hospitality operating system, called LIVE OS[2] for hotels to manage all their technology tools from one place. The company partnered with various technology providers so that all the systems could be accessed and managed from a single sign-on platform.
