EYRTH is a Latvian atmospheric post-metal band. The band was formed in 2017 in Riga.[1]
The band released it's first single, "Meadows" in 2017, but the first full-length album, called - "Fracture", self-released in early 2019 in both, original and instrumental versions, and available on CD, cassete and digital formats.[2][3]
Musical style and influences[edit]
Band's style has been described as post-metal, sludge, doom, post-hardcore and ambient.[4] Their music is based on cold, dark soundscapes, filled with slow, heavy riffs, angry drumming and blurred, atmospheric, highly reverberated growling vocals.[5] Low tuned and heavy distorted guitars, deep, roaring bass and heavy drum sections, immersed in dense atmospheric drones, like mistical gleaming balanced by a feeling of immense devastation and abandonment.[6][7]
