EZSource is a suite of tools for static code analysis of business applications, providing capabilities in coding standards, code quality metrics and impact/interdependency analysis. Environment support is provided for COBOL, PL/1, Assembler, Natural, CA ADS, z/OS JCL, C, SAP ABAP and Java languages as well as batch schedulers/workload management such as IBM TWS, CA 7, A-Auto and BMC Control-M.

From a mainframe perspective, it is primarily focused on applications analysis for the IBM z/OS mainframe market. However, it also covers Fujitsu VME and AIM environments. Through support of IBM MQ and other enterprise application integration software (middleware), the toolkit also provides cross-platform impact analysis.
