Hi, thanks a lot for review! But, there are plenty of wiki pages, that have only their websites as a source and yet they got accepted..e.g. Ernst Schering Prize - Wikipedia or Alexander von Humboldt Professorship? So I don't understand why my sources aren't enough..

I've added lots of additional sources, but this article is not only about awards, but mostly about the people who received the awards, in order to highlight their names and their works. So I would really like to this page get accepted, please. Also, some of the sources such as Angewandte Chemie International edition or Nobel Prize official website are legitimate sources, so please take this into consideration while reviewing. I hope for your help and highly appreciate your work!

The Bayer Foundation Early Excellence in Science Awards were launched in 2009. They are awarded to promising research talents in sciences at an early stage of their academic career. The award is presented annually with a prize money of €10,000 in each of the following four categories:

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Medical sciences
  • Data science

History[edit]

The Early Excellence in Science Awards were established in 2009 with awards given for outstanding young scientists in the fields of chemistry, biology and material science. It was the first Bayer Foundation Science Award not limited to scientists working in German speaking countries. In 2015, the prize for material science was succeeded by the award in medical science following the sale of Bayer AG’s material division, which is now known as Covestro. The fourth category of Data Science was established in 2020.
