EasyCwmp is a TR-069 (cwmp) client[3][4] can run on Linux, OpenWRT and Android and is included in most Linux distributions.
EasyCwmp is fully compliant with the TR-069 standard amendment 2. EasyCwmp supports all Data model standards including TR-181, TR-098, TR-104, TR-135 ... and supports the TR-143 diagnostic standard.
The easycwmp is a monothread daemon and it contains 2 parts:
- Core: this part is the protocol part and it's responsible for all kind of communication with the TR-069 server (ACS). And it's developed in C
- Data Model: this part is responsible to find/set all data model parameters of the device. This part is developed in shell and it offers a simple interface to edit or extend the data model parameters.
EasyCwmp could be installed easily on any Linux distribution [5] and especially on OpenWRT[6]
EasyCwmp supports IPv6 and SSL/TLS.
EasyCwmp use the linux librairy dependencies libcurl, libmicroxml, libubox, libuci and libubus.
For the interoperability tests, EasyCwmp was tested with many ACSs:
- ACSLite (Commercial ACS from Netmania)
- tGem (Commercial ACS from Tilgin)
- Open ACS/LibreACS (open source ACS)
- GenieACS (open source ACS)
- FreeACS (open source ACS)
