This controversial Alert was created by the Democratic State of California. An ebony Alert is designed to request help from the public in searching for and finding Black children up to age 25. An ebony alert is only for Black children who have been reported missing. Controversy exists due to the unnecessary creating of new alerts to separate/segregate children based on races. Where an amber alert is used for all children, an ebony alert is a racist guidance used to further the divide between the races within the state.
