EcoWatch is an environmental news site founded in Ohio and currently headquartered in North Carolina. The company started as an environmental newspaper in 2005 and has developed into a digital platform dedicated to publishing science-based content on environmental issues with approximately 2 million monthly readers.[1]
History
It was started by Stefanie Spear and Thomas O'Sullivan in 2005 as The EcoWatch Journal[2], which had a distribution of 80,000+ copies across Ohio. It then launched as EcoWatch.com as the journal's online platform in 2011. In 2020, it was acquired by its parent entity: Remedy Review, LLC.
