Economy of Deoghar
The Economy of Deoghar is depend and based on tourism, agriculture, retail, IT and hospitality etc. Deoghar is the fifth largest city in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is one of the major industrial hubs.
Tourism and Hospitalty[edit]
Tourism is a major economic source of Deoghar. As how Deoghar is known for its religious historic significance, culture and tourism. So here is huge tourism. Deoghar is the major tourism hub of Jharkhand. Peoples from many places came here to visit the places and tourist attractions. The tourism boom of Deoghar led to construction of an international airport here. Now an international airport namely Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Airport is under construction. While bus stations, roadways and railway stations are promoting tourism of the city of Deoghar.[1][2]

The Plastic Park is a company having its corporate office in Deoghar. Here is also a Plastic Recycling Unit.[3]
