Ed Bolian is an American who in October, 2013, set a transcontinental driving record across the United States in 28 hours, 50 minutes and 26 seconds. He left from Midtown Manhattan and arrived in Redondo Beach, LA breaking the previous record set by Alexander Roy and Dave Maher in October 2006. Ed lowered the record by 2 hours and 14 minutes in his 2004 Mercedes Benz CL55 AMG. With perfect weather and low traffic, this attempt marks the largest time improvement over the previous record since 1971. He was accompanied by Dave Black and Dan Huang[1][2][3][4]
