Edip Ilkbahar

Edip İlkbahar (born 1960 in Istanbul) is the Founder and Coordinator of the Alarko – Hillside Leisure Group.

Starting his education at Maçka Primary School, he continued at English High School and graduated from Boğaziçi University. He joined Alarko in 1984 and founded the Hillside brand in 1990. Specializing in new enterprises within sports, entertainment, cinema, and tourism; he established the Hillside Leisure Group as the first corporately developing Turkish leisure company.

Edip İlkbahar was also the subject of the Harvard Business School Case Study: "Delivering the Ultimate Family Vacation in the Mediterranean" by Sr. Prof. Rajiv Lal and Gamze Yucaoglu.
