Efetobo Ola-Oluwa Aror (born September 26, 2005) is an American soccer player who plays for the Portland Pilots.
Early life
Born in the United States, Aror is of Nigerian descent.[1] He played youth soccer with the Barça Residency Academy from 2020 to 2023.[2][3]
College career
In 2023, Aror began attending the University of Portland, where he played for the men's soccer team.[4] At the end of his first season, he was named the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year and named to the All-Freshman Team.[5] On November 16, 2024, he scored his first goal for Portland in a 3-2 victory over the Oregon State Beavers.[6] At the end of 2024, he was named a WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.[7]
Club career
In March 2023, Aror signed a USL Academy contract with Phoenix Rising FC of the USL Championship to enable him to play for the first team at the professional level.[8] He made his debut on March 11, 2023 in a match against the Charleston Battery.[9]
At the 2025 MLS SuperDraft, Aror was selected in the first round (12th overall) by the Colorado Rapids.[1][10]
