Ehsan Kavousi (born 6 May 1983) is a Danish Iranian poet and tech CEO of Iranian descent, notable for his 2012 collaborative poetry publication with iranian artist Mahmoud Farshchian, While the world is Asleep.[1][2][3] He is currently the CEO[4] & Co-founder[5] of the music platform and tech startup Crowdsurfr.[6]
Early life[edit]
Ehsan Kavousi was born in Isfahan to a family of Shia muslim Iranians, who fled to Denmark due to the Iran–Iraq war. In 2013 he was the winner and face of Specsavers Denmark competition[7][8]. Same year he participated in helping "Give sight to Tanzania with the Opticians without borders charity[9][10]. The project had at the time helped over 17000 people.[10]
