Ehsan Kavousi (born 6 May 1983) is a Danish Iranian poet and tech CEO of Iranian descent, notable for his 2012 collaborative poetry publication with Iranian artist Mahmoud Farshchian, While the world is asleep.[1][2][3] He is currently the CEO[4] and Co-founder[5] of the music platform and tech startup Crowdsurfr.[6]
Early life
Ehsan Kavousi was born in Isfahan to a family of Shia Muslim Iranians, who fled to Denmark due to the Iran–Iraq War. In 2013, he was the winner and face of the Specsavers Denmark competition.[7][8]. That same year, he participated in helping "Give sight to Tanzania" with the Opticians without borders charity.[9][10]. The project at that time had helped over 17,000 people.[10]
