Nicholas Colesar (born September 25, 1988), who writes under the name N. J. Colesar,[1] is an American author best known for The Shearing,[2] the first book of his Steel City Series of novels set in the DarkEnergy Universe.[3]
Biography[edit]
Nick Colesar was born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. A graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, he became interested in fantasy after reading J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.
Writing[edit]
In 2014, he started writing seriously, developing a manuscript for what would become his first novel, The Shearing.
