Eightydays — is an online travel service for automatic generating of trips[1]. The company was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in San Francisco[2]. Through its website, Eightydays offers a variety of services to facilitate travel[3]. The algorithm takes into account such factors as cost, time, airport accessibility, congestion and some other[3].

History[edit]

The first build of the prototype was developed in 2015 during the Garage-48 hackathon in Minsk[4][5]. In 2016, an iOS app was released. In the same year, the company received the “Startup of the year Belarus” award[6]. In December 2019, a Russian designer Artemy Lebedev invested in a Travel startup[7].

Service[edit]

Eightydays can be used as a mobile app or as a web-site[8]. The service generates a detailed trip of a duration up to 20 days, based on the user’s information upon a departure city, number of days, destination points, budget and other criteria[9][10][11]. User have to start and end tour trip in the same city. Eightydays gives an opportunity to book all tickets in one payment directly on the website and find accommodations from websites like Airbnb and Booking.com.[12]
