Einar Stray (born March 30, 1990) is a Norwegian musician and journalist. Stray is the front figure of the band Einar Stray Orchestra, who received rave reviews internationally for their three albums Chiaroscuro[1][not in citation given] (2011), Politricks[2] (2014), and Dear Bigotry[3] (2017). The band has played over 300 concerts across Europe and Asia, with several tours in Germany, China, England, Spain, Italy, and Russia.[4] Under the alias DJ Døgenikt, he has performed in clubs in New York, Tokyo, Marrakech, and Paris. Stray is known for writing award-winning music and playing keyboards for artists such as Cezinando and Moddi. Stray hosts the podcasts Popkammeret[5] and Lyden Av[6], as well as the radio program Bra Trommis.[7] Stray is a voice actor in several TV series, such as Marvel's Spider-Man and Breadwinners. In 2016, Stray was awarded the Statens Kunstnerstipend (the Norwegian state art scholarship).[8]
